How have music videos changed over time
Since the first music video created by bill Hayley, where the layout is simple, and it is just a video of the band and the vocalist performing. Many aspects have improved over time thanks to the growing of different technologies. Music videos now tell a story, and have usually have a clear narrative of which links to the lyrics. However one thing has stayed the same, and that is the main focus being on the main vocalist or the ‘star’.
Editing has played a large role in improving the quality of the video and also helped engage the audience.
